Speech-Language Pathologist
John finds his career an interesting and challenging one. He is a registered speech-language pathologist with a masters degree in clinical science from the University of Western Ontario,and is a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). In 1997, he joined Canada’s largest private medical clinic (the Oshawa Clinic) as an associate member providing information and support to physicians and their patients. In 1999, John expanded his practice and relocated to 21 Gladstone Ave. in Oshawa, ON.
Over the years John has acquired experience working in a hospital, two childrens' treatment centers, and has contracted services to two school boards. He has also provided “lunch and learn” seminars for physicians, and presentations for parents of young children.
In addition, John has also assisted in the publication of two parent handbooks: “Helping Kids Discover and Develop Language: second edition” (2000), and “Growing with Communication: A Speech and Language Guide for Parents with Children Under 5 years of Age” (1999).
Sarah E. Wilson, B.A. Hons, C.D.A.
Communication Disorders Assistant
Sarah is a Communicative Disorders Assistant with an Honours B.A. from the University of Guelph, and an Ontario Graduate Certificate from Durham College. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA).
Since 2006, Sarah has been providing personalized one-on-one therapy to children with communication disorders. She is passionate about providing families and care-givers with resources and support to help them make positive changes in their loved ones communication skills.
